Terms and Conditions
TRAVELERS CLUB: The loyalty program rewards our valued and loyal guests with specials and a Travelers Club $100 Loyalty Credit (TCLC) for future travel.  The $100 TC Loyalty Credit is earned on your first vacation departing after January 1, 2024, and applied to the final payment of your next vacation. TCLC is non-transferable, not applicable to FIT ocean or steamboat cruise bookings & valid for 18 months.

REFER-A-FRIEND SAVINGS: Refer new travelers to join us on any future tour or European river cruise & earn a $100 Travel Credit for each traveler you refer, once your referral travels. Referring Travelers (you) must have traveled with us previously. Referred Travelers (your friends) must be new to AFC, and not have booked, traveled, or already receive AFC marketing materials. Valid for 18 months and non-transferable. Group promotions are excluded.  Effective September 1, 2023, for new 2024-2025 reservations.

CASH EARLY BOOKING SAVINGS (EBS): On most tours, EBS is $100 per person for guest deposits 1-20 and $75 pp for guest deposits 21-40. For Mystery Tours, the normal EBS is $50 pp for guests 1-40. The EBS for European River Cruises is $200 pp for guests 1-20 and $150 pp for guests 21-40. Deposit by credit card or check, Final Payment by check to be eligible. EBS amount exceptions apply and EBS are not applicable to Ocean Cruises or Steamboat Cruises.

DEPOSITS: $400 per person deposit is due at the time of booking for US/Canada tours. $600 pp for European River Cruises/International tours and $750 pp for escorted Ocean Cruises (some exceptions apply).

RISK FREE DEPOSIT - NO CHANGE FEES**: Deposits & Travel Protection Plan (TPP) payments for any Bookings made for AFC tours are fully refundable until 180 days prior to departure less a $100 Fee.  Refund is issued with a $100 Future Travel Credit (FTC) for value of the $100 Fee retained. Should your plans change inside of 180 days & before 90 days/Final Payment Due you can use the full value (FTC**) of your Deposit or TPP toward the Final Payment on a new booking (new Deposit req’d). Not applicable to European River Cruises. **FTC’s are valid for tours/ERC departing within 12 months from the original departure date & non-transferable.

FINAL PAYMENT DUE: 90 Days prior to departure. AFC Vacations accepts Check, MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, & Discover. To qualify for AFC’s cash early booking savings (EBS), your final payment must be paid by check. Credit cards are accepted for initial deposit & TPP (if purchased). If you choose to pay with credit card after the initial deposit, the cash early booking savings will not apply.

GUARANTEED PRICES: Offer applies to AFC brochure featured land tours and European river cruises. AFC’s featured prices are based on the rates known at the time of printing. Once we have received your deposit with full booking details, your price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increase is at our expense.

CANCELLATION POLICY: AFC must be notified of all cancellations IN WRITING. Date of cancellation is considered to be the first business day that AFC receives this written notice.  Name changes, transferring to a different tour or departure date are considered cancellations and are subject to AFC cancellation policies. AFC offers and strongly recommends travel protection/insurance. The following refund schedules apply to all AFC brochure featured land tours & European river cruise charters (see below, some exceptions apply). The AFC Travel Protection Plan will cover these penalties if you cancel for a covered reason.

Up to 180 days: $100 is retained**
179-90 days: Deposit or TPP** is retained 
89-60 days: 75% Refunded of Full Price
59-30 days: 50% Refunded of Full Price
29-15 days: 25% Refunded of Full Price
14 days or less prior to departure/no shows: No Refund

EUROPEAN RIVER CRUISE CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations not covered by the Travel Protection Plan (TPP) or if the TPP is not purchased, are subject to the following per person fees:
Up to 180 days:   $200 per person penalty
179-90 days:       Deposit or TPP* retained
89-60 days:         50% Refunded of Full Price
59-30 days:         25% Refunded of Full Price
29 days or less:   No Refund
*if purchased

OCEAN CRUISE CANCELLATION POLICY:  Penalty & policy can vary by cruiseline & cruise length for both escorted & individual cruise bookings. 

HOME PICK-UP AIRPORT SERVICEis included with AFC tours, getaways, European River Cruises and air/sea cruises over $2,099 per person within 40 miles of your airport of choice.  It is based on transferring you to and from your airport of choice listed in AFC Air Inclusive rates as an included feature if your airport of choice is within 40 miles. If your airport of choice is over 40 miles you have the choice of taking a Home Pick-Up Credit of $100 per person (credit applied on final payment invoice) or paying a $100 per person double supplement ($150 supplement for single traveler) if your airport is within 41-60 miles. Supplements over 60 miles would need to be quoted separately. Any Air Inclusive AFC traveler choosing not to take advantage of the included Home Pick-Up Airport Service can take the $100 per person credit as noted above. Passengers travelling land only and or doing their own air do not have the Home Pick-Up Service or the $100 credit included.

LAND ONLY & TRIPLE RATES: For passengers travelling “Land Only” or doing own airfare, the tour or cruise begins and ends at the first & last hotel or at the pier.  Home pick-up is not included on Land Only packages. Hotel or Ship Transfers are available for purchase for most programs ($100 RT) on regular travel dates. Time constraints normally apply. Land Only bookings are eligible for Early Booking Savings & Travelers Club Credits.  For US, Canada & International tours, triple rates (two beds) reduce pp dbl cost by $30 (6N or less) or $50 (7N or more). Triple rates are not available on European River Cruises.

AIR DEVIATIONS & EXTENSIONS: AFC is happy to assist you with any Air Deviations or Extensions to our Land/Air packages prior to or with Final Payment.  An air supplement of $75 pp for US/Canada and $150 pp for International programs applies to an Air Deviation or Extension. Other airline supplements/differences in fare may apply based on the nature of the Air Deviation or Extension. Home Pick-up does not apply when deviating from the published itinerary. 

PASSPORTS: All US citizens are REQUIRED to have a valid U.S. passport for ALL Cruises & International Tours. It is recommended your passport be valid for 6 months beyond your scheduled return date.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE: Airline baggage fees or seat assignment fees; items of a personal nature such as laundry; telephone, mini bar, alcohol, beverages & meals not included in the itinerary; gifts; optional excursions; travel protection/insurance; airline excess bag fee; passport, visa, & vaccination charges; tips to your tour manager, driver, local city guides, and cruise ship staff.

RESPONSIBILITY - AFC Vacations (hereafter AFC), whose vouchers are used by respective agents for the passenger in all matters pertaining to hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation, hold themselves free of responsibility for any damages occasioned from any cause whatsoever. AFC will not be responsible for any damages or inconvenience caused by late arrivals, departures and change of schedule or other conditions nor will they be responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time the passenger is not on board their conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airline concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of this tour/cruise, and/or passenger. AFC does not hold any responsibility for the conduct of any of its members, hotel, motorcoach, cruiseline, train, airline or other personnel. AFC reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour/cruise at its discretion. AFC &/or its Tour Manager retain the right to require any participant to withdraw from a tour/cruise at any time, if determined to be in the best interests of health, safety & general welfare of the tour/cruise group or of the individual participant. Arbitration - I/We agree, any and all disputes concerning this contract or any other material concerning the trip, or the trip itself must be resolved exclusively pursuant to binding arbitration in the state of California, pursuant to the then current rules of the American Arbitration Association. Payment of the deposit for this tour/cruise constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. AFC Vacations is a dba of Premier World Tours, LLC. CST #2048841-40

USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program AFC Vacations shares the coverage available under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program with affiliates of PWT, LLC, who, as an Active Member of the USTOA, is required to post $1 Million with USTOA to be used to reimburse, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program, the advance payments of AFC Vacations customers in the unlikely event of AFC Vacations bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of business. Further, you should understand that the $1 Million posted by PWT, LLC and shared among its affiliates may be sufficient to provide only a partial recovery of the advance payments received by AFC Vacations.
