Day 1 - Friday, 1/24/2025 - Dinner Sacramento
Upon arrival in Sacramento, meet your Tour Manager and check in to your hotel to begin a two night stay in the “River City”. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers at a popular local restaurant.

Day 2 - Saturday, 1/25/2025 - Breakfast Sacramento
This morning enjoy a visit to the Aerospace Museum of California which celebrates the history of aviation and aerospace. With interactive science and technology exhibits and hundreds of artifacts on site, visitors can explore and pilot their own adventure! The Museum features over 40 historic aircraft in a 4-acre outdoor Air Park, a 40,000 square foot exhibit hall, and incredible traveling exhibits. This afternoon visit the California State Railroad Museum at the Old Sacramento Waterfront. See beautifully restored railroad cars and locomotives that illustrate rail history in California and the West. Old Sacramento was the commercial hub of the Gold Rush Era and is filled with shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues yet retains 1800’s charm with original storefronts and wooden sidewalks. Later visit a Sacramento area Brewery for a Beer Tasting Experience. Later return to your hotel for an evening at your own pace.

Day 3 - Sunday, 1/26/2025 - Breakfast - Dinner Sierra Nevada Rail Journey
This morning board an Amtrak Train in Sacramento for a 4-hour plus Sierra Nevada Rail Journey. The famous rail experience takes you from the farmland of the Central Valley into scenic foothills then into and over the beautiful snow capped Sierra Nevada Mountains. Finally ride along the Truckee River and arrive in Reno, ‘The Biggest Little City in the World’ (altitude 4,505’). Early this evening check into your Reno hotel for a two-night stay. Join your fellow travelers for dinner this evening at a your Casino Resort.

Day 4 - Monday, 1/27/2025 - Breakfast - Dinner Reno / Tahoe / Virginia City
This morning visit Reno’s famous National Automobile Museum, recognized as one of the top auto museums in the world featuring the original Harrah Auto Collection of gaming pioneer Bill Harrah. Then travel through historic Carson City, capital of the Silver State of Nevada, and continue up the hill to see majestic Lake Tahoe. The famous lake is the largest Alpine lake in North America and a year round resort destination. Stop in South Shore (altitude 6,237’) to explore the Heavenly Village, filled with shops, restaurants, and an ice rink. Then visit Virginia City, site of the Comstock Lode and once the richest place in the world. The famous Old West town was once the west’s mining metropolis and featured notable residents Mark Twain and Bret Harte. Tonight’s Farewell Dinner will be at a local restaurant in the Reno area.

Day 5 - Tuesday, 1/28/2025 - Breakfast Fly Home
Today transfer to the Reno Airport and fly home with wonderful memories of your Sierra Snow Train experience.
