Arrive in the Netherlands and meet your Tour Manager. Transfer to the MS Amadeus Queen or Aurea for 7 nights. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner onboard tonight. 

Amsterdam                                   
Enjoy a Amsterdam Canal Cruise Tour featuring narration and views of beautiful homes through the intricate canal system. Meet your ship in Utrecht and this afternoon cruise towards Cologne.

Cologne                               
Cologne is Germany’s 4th largest city and is located on the Rhine River. Enjoy a Cologne Walking Tour & Kolsch Beer Tasting. Then, stroll the Old Town (Altstadt) and see the massive, iconic 13th century Gothic cathedral. Explore the dockside taverns, cafés, and shops.

Koblenz / Rüdesheim
Arrive in Koblenz and enjoy a Koblenz Walking Tour. This charming Rhineland town is situated at the confluence of the Rhine & Moselle Rivers.  Then, your ship cruises through the Rhine River Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This beautiful stretch of river features hillsides dotted with fairy-tale castles, historic towns, and vineyards. Arrive in Rüdesheim for free time to stroll the Drosselgasse, a narrow alley lined with wine taverns and restaurants, on your own. There will be an optional visit to the Rüdesheim Music Cabinet Museum.

Mannheim / Speyer
From the city of Mannheim, on the Rhine River, travel to enjoy a Heidelberg Tour with Heidelberg Castle. Visit the red-walled castle with beautiful views of the Neckar Valley.  Walk through the historic and romantic Old Town.  Later arrive in Speyer, one of Germany’s oldest cities, known for its cathedral and the 13th century Old Gate. An optional Speyer Walking Tour will be available.

Strasbourg               
Strasbourg is situated on the Rhine in France’s Alsace region. Enjoy a Strasbourg City Tour with a Canal Boat Cruise. Coach through the city, then walk through the lovely, historic old town and see the famous cathedral. During your boat cruise discover the famous quarter, “Petite France”. This former mill and tanner district still maintains its medieval charm with its famous half-timbered houses and the Council of Europe.

Breisach / Black Forest    
Enjoy a scenic drive through Germany’s fabled Black Forest. Stop at Lake Titisee for a village stroll along this famous Black Forest glacial lake. Later arrive at the charming Hofgut Sternen resort, famous for Black Forest traditions. During your visit, maybe stroll through the forest, see a cuckoo clock demonstration, watch a glassblower, or sample some Black Forest Cake. Tonight is your Gala Farewell Dinner onboard.

Lucerne / Zurich
Disembark in Basel and travel to Lucerne, on the banks of Lake Lucerne with the Swiss Alps as its backdrop. Enjoy a Lucerne Walking Tour to explore this medieval gem and walk across the iconic 14th century Chapel Bridge. See lovely cobblestone streets, monuments, public squares, and colorful frescoed buildings.  Enjoy leisure time to grab lunch on your own, shop, or stroll along the lake. Later a short drive takes you to Zurich for your overnight stay.

Fly Home or Swiss Rail Optional Extension  
Transfer to the airport and fly home, or continue on the optional extension.

If you chose the extension, transfer to Lausanne for a three-night stay in this scenic city situated on Lake Geneva.

Swiss Rail Extension             
Travel to Tasch, then a short train ride to Zermatt. Enjoy free time in this picturesque town, and consider taking the Gornergrat Matterhorn train on your own. Return to Lausanne

Swiss Rail Extension
Take the Golden Pass Train to Gstaad. In the afternoon, visit the famous Castle of Chillon on Lake Geneva. Return to Lausanne.

Fly Home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

Three meals daily are served graciously in the exquisite restaurant and feature local & international specialties. All dinners are four courses. Lunch and Dinner are served with included Hand Selected Wines, Beer, & soft drinks. While dining, youhave splendid views of the passing scenic landscapes through the large picture windows. Enjoy afternoon and/or late evening snacks in the lounge based on the daily schedule.

After boarding, unpack once.  All staterooms are larger than traditional river cruise cabins & offer excellent river views.  The Mozart Deck features Suites with Walk Out Balconies.  The other Staterooms on the Mozart Deck & Staterooms on the Strauss Deck feature innovative panoramic Drop-Down Windows.  The Staterooms on the Haydn Deck have a fixed window.  All staterooms are fully equipped with comfortable & modern furnishings including flat screen TV & large private bathrooms with shower.

Staterooms feature 2 twin beds that can be separated or put together, flat screen TV, private bath with shower, hair dryer, closet, phone, desk, chair, & safe. Mozart & Strauss Decks feature Drop Down Panoramic Window with 188 sq. ft. of floor space. Haydn Deck Staterooms have a fixed window with 172 sq ft floor space.
