Home Pick-up and overnight flight to Amsterdam.
Day 2 - Wednesday, 10/6/2021 - To Lucerne
Arrive in Amsterdam, meet your Tour Manager and visit Zaanse Schans Windmill Village with its tidy green houses, real working windmills, and small museums. Board the Amadeus Imperial for your 7 night cruise. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner this evening. - Dinner
Day 3 - Thursday, 10/7/2021 - Amsterdam / Cheese Tasting
Enjoy an Amsterdam canal cruise. See Amsterdam’s attractive old houses and busy modern harbor. Then, walk through the quaint village of Hoorn. Coach to the old fishing village of Volendam and on to a countryside local cheese farm for a tour and tasting. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
Day 4 - Friday, 10/8/2021 - Cologne
After breakfast, arrive into the beautiful city of Cologne. Explore the historic Old Town and visit the famous twin-spired Cologne Cathedral, along with the twelve Romanesque Cathedrals that span the city. There are many medieval houses, bridges, and gates that will delight the historian in you, while the more modern skyscrapers that tower overhead are sure to impress.  After an exciting day, return to the vessel spend the evening cruising the Danube. An optional to Siebengebirge National Park & Drachenfels Castle will be available. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
Day 5 - Saturday, 10/9/2021 - Oberwesel
Early this morning, join others on the deck for the famous Loreley Passage, a narrow section of the Rhine that has inspired a modern day folklore story of the siren of the river. Day 6 - Sunday, 10/10/2021 - Miltenberg & Wertheim
Choose to relax onboard, or join the afternoon optional to the two medieval towns of Miltenberg and Wertheim, famous for their architecture and museums. In Wertheim explore the medieval streets with half-timbered houses and a glass museum. In Miltenberg, more half-timbered houses and an historic market square. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Welcome to the Bavarian city of Würzburg, located in the heart of the Franconian wine region! Experience the many beautiful sights of the town such as the marketplace, Maria Chapel, and the old main bridge, the Marienberg Fortress, and the surrounding vineyards. Day 8 - Tuesday, 10/12/2021 - Bamberg
This morning cruise the beautiful Main River. After lunch arrive in the UNESCO-protected Imperial city of Bamberg. Enjoy a Bamberg walking tour to see the New Residence, the unique Town Hall built on a bridge, and the Imperial Cathedral with its four towers. Overlooking the city are seven churches, each atop a hill. This evening, transit the Main-Danube Canal highlighted by a talk onboard about this important waterway. Situated in Eastern Bavaria, Regensburg is one of Germany’s oldest towns, founded by the Romans in 179 AD. Today it is a prosperous city with 3 universities and many landmarks from the Middle Ages.  Enjoy a Regensburg walking tour through one of the most visited cities in Germany and its Medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
Day 11 - Friday, 10/15/2021 - Passau
Passau is one of Germany’s oldest cities situated at the confluence of the Inn, Ilz, and Danube Rivers. Passau is a beautiful fairy-tale town with cobblestone streets, the famous baroque Cathedral of St. Stephen, and fortress Veste Oberhaus high on the hill. Awake in Bratislava for a morning city tour. Walk through the city, see the home of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, the old city walls, the summer residence of the archbishop, and the current residence of the president of Slovakia. Traverse the restored old town, from Michael’s Gate, to impressive Primatial Palace and St. Martin’s Cathedral. Bratislava is a little jewel along the Danube.
