Day 1 - Sunday, 8/13/2023 - Fly to Seattle Arrive in the Emerald City of Seattle. Meet your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers. - Dinner |
Day 2 - Monday, 8/14/2023 - Seattle This morning enjoy a city tour. Start at the Space Needle, its observation deck 520 feet above the city. Built for the 1962 World’s Fair, the iconic tower can feature views of the mountains, ocean, and bustling downtown. Continue to historic Pioneer Square, the Chittenden Locks & Fish Ladders, the Seattle Center, and a stop for great pictures. End at famous Pike Place Market. Built in 1903, the waterfront market is home to the flying fish & the original Starbuck’s Coffee. Enjoy time to wander, shop, and nibble. The rest of the day is at leisure. - Breakfast |
Day 3 - Tuesday, 8/15/2023 - Multnomah Falls / Portland This morning travel south into Oregon and stop at Multnomah Falls, the second highest year-round waterfall in the nation located in the scenic Columbia River Gorge. Later enjoy a Portland City Tour. See the Columbia River, Washington Park with its famous International Rose Test Garden, Pioneer Courthouse Square, and the famous downtown food trucks. Later, check into your hotel in the Portland area for an evening at leisure. - Breakfast |
Day 4 - Wednesday, 8/16/2023 - Newport / Sand Dunes Coach through the fertile Willamette Valley, with beautiful vineyards and home to much of Oregon’s agriculture. Visit historic Newport, founded in 1866. Continue down the magnificent Oregon Coast to Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. This unique 40 mile stretch of windswept sand is the largest expanse of coastal sand dunes in North America with dunes towering up to 500 feet. Continue to Coos Bay for an evening at leisure. - Breakfast |
Day 5 - Thursday, 8/17/2023 - Jetboat / Redwoods Early this morning travel south to Gold Beach. Board your vessel for a Rogue River Jetboat Trip! The half day scenic adventure features abundant wildlife and pristine wilderness along the ‘Historic Mail Boat route’ to the small town of Agness for an included lunch. This afternoon coach into California. Stop at famous Redwood National Park, home to majestic coast redwood trees, the world’s tallest living things growing to 350 feet. Arrive in Eureka and drive through Old Town to view several famous & beautiful Victorian Homes. Tonight enjoy dinner at a popular local restaurant. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner |
Day 6 - Friday, 8/18/2023 - Redwoods / Winery / San Francisco Depart for the Avenue of the Giants. This world-famous scenic drive is 31-miles of old Highway 101 with 51,000+ acres of redwood groves surrounded by Humboldt Redwoods State Park; the largest remaining stand of virgin redwoods in the world. Continue into California Wine Country for a Winery Tour & Tasting. Later cross the majestic Golden Gate Bridge into one of the world’s most amazing cities, San Francisco. Arrive for an evening at your own pace in the exciting “City by the Bay”. - Breakfast |
Day 7 - Saturday, 8/19/2023 - San Francisco Today enjoy a San Francisco city tour to see the Civic Center area, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, Union Square, Seal Rocks, Pier 39, and a stop at Vista Point for spectacular photos of the Golden Gate Bridge. This afternoon, enjoy this amazing city at your own pace. Maybe take a cable car ride, enjoy a chowder filled sourdough bread bowl, or shop in Union Square. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Dinner in famous Fisherman’s Wharf. - Breakfast - Dinner |
