Arrive in San Antonio, meet your Tour Manager and transfer to your downtown hotel located in the famed River Walk area. Enjoy your Get Acquainted Dinner at a local restaurant. - Dinner
Day 2 - Saturday, 6/19/2021 - Austin Day Trip / LBJ Library / Wildflower Center
Today is the most picturesque day of your trip as you coach through Texas' rolling hills. In Austin, visit the Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) Presidential Library and the State Capitol Building which boasts the tallest capitol dome in the nation, even taller than the US Capitol. Next, visit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Return to San Antonio and enjoy a free evening. - Breakfast
Day 3 - Sunday, 6/20/2021 - San Antonio / Cruise / Tower of the Americas
View the IMAX movie, The Price of Freedom, which recreates the events leading up to the famous battle at the Alamo. Then, tour the Alamo where Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie fought for Texas independence in 1836. Later enjoy a narrated boat ride along downtown’s famous River Walk. This evening, ascend the Tower of the Americas (750’ high) for a spectacular dinner with a view of the city from 580 feet up. - Breakfast - Dinner
Day 4 - Monday, 6/21/2021 - Hill Country / LBJ Ranch / Fredericksburg / Parade
Drive north this morning up into the Hill Country. Tour the LBJ Ranch, home to our 36th President. Then arrive in nearby Fredericksburg, a quaint historic village. Enjoy lunch prior to your visit to the National Museum of the Pacific War, dedicated to the 2 million men and women who served under Nimitz in the Pacific during World War II. Later experience the San Antonio Fiesta (Texas Cavaliers River Parade**), a city-wide, fun-filled, multi-cultural celebration - it’s the greatest community benefit event in Texas. This evening enjoy your Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner
Day 5 - Tuesday, 6/22/2021 - Mission San Jose / Fly Home
This morning, visit the King William District, known for its ornate 1800’s mansions. Tour the Mission San Jose, established in 1720. It is considered to be the most beautiful & prosperous of all the Texas missions. Then, depart for the airport and your return flight home.
**The Fiesta Commission has rescheduled the Fiesta to June 2021. This includes a rescheduled Texas Cavalier’s River Parade. - Breakfast
