Day 1 - Saturday, 10/9/2021 - Fly to Louisville
Arrive in Louisville, meet your Tour Manager, and transfer to your hotel for a two-night stay.  Named after King Louis XVI of France, Louisville was founded in 1778 by George Rogers Clark, making it one of the oldest cities west of the Appalachians. Kentucky is known as the “Bluegrass State” based on the fact that bluegrass is found in many of the lawns and pastures throughout the state.
Day 2 - Sunday, 10/10/2021 - Louisville / Derby Playhouse
Morning city tour with your local guide. Discover the Kentucky Derby Museum and enjoy a historic walking tour of Churchill Downs Racetrack. Then, visit the Muhammad Ali Center, dedicated to the famed boxer’s life and philosophic principles. Next, tour the Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat Factory and Museum. Tonight, enjoy a fun evening at the Derby Dinner Playhouse, complete with delicious buffet dinner and a professional production of a Broadway musical or lighthearted comedy. - Breakfast - Dinner
Day 3 - Monday, 10/11/2021 - Bardstown / Bourbon Tasting / Shaker Village / Lexington
Motor south to Bardstown to tour the famous “My Old Kentucky Home” State Park, featuring a restored 1795 farm. It was here that Steven Foster wrote the state song of the same name. Next, stop in Loretto for a bourbon tour & tasting at famed Maker’s Mark Distillery. This afternoon, visit Shaker Village, a restored early 1800’s Shaker religious community. Arrive in Lexington for a free evening on your own. - Breakfast
Day 4 - Tuesday, 10/12/2021 - Lexington
Enjoy a scenic bluegrass horse country guided tour through rolling hills, past the white fences and famous horse stud farms. The Kentucky Horse Park is the world’s only park dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse. You will tour the Hall of Champions, the International Museum of the Horse, and see the Parade of Breeds. Later visit Ashland, the plantation home of statesman Henry Clay. Enjoy dinner tonight at a popular local restaurant. - Breakfast - Dinner
Day 5 - Wednesday, 10/13/2021 - Ark Encounter
This morning drive north to Williamstown to see the life-size replica of Noah’s Ark, Ark Encounter, the largest timber frame structure in the world which opened in 2016 and was built to the dimensions given in the Bible. Built in part by Amish craftsman, the structure measures 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high, and is a modern engineering marvel featuring 3 decks of exhibits. Later travel to Georgetown to visit the Toyota Auto Plant for an up-close look at what it takes to build a car. The plant is home of the Camry & Avalon, and is Toyota’s first wholly-owned American vehicle plant and its largest in the world.  Lexington loves its steak so tonight join your fellow travelers for a Farewell Dinner at one of Lexington’s famous local steakhouses. - Breakfast - Dinner
Day 6 - Thursday, 10/14/2021 - Return Home
