Day 1 - Saturday, 7/9/2022 - Fly to Spokane, WA Arrive in Spokane, meet your Tour Manager, and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your Welcome Dinner tonight at a local restaurant. - Dinner |
Day 2 - Sunday, 7/10/2022 - Spokane to Revelstoke Travel north along the Columbia River. Cross the Selkirk Mountains into British Columbia, lunch in Castlegar, and head into the rugged wilderness of Valhalla Provincial Park. Drive along Upper Arrow Lake, then take the ferry across to Galena Bay and into Revelstoke, BC, located at the entrance to Revelstoke National Park. - Breakfast |
Day 3 - Monday, 7/11/2022 - Glacier National Park / Banff See Canada’s spectacular Glacier National Park on your way to Golden, BC. Drive over Kicking Horse Pass where you'll see the Natural Bridge, Emerald Lake, Takakkaw Falls, and the Spiral Tunnels. Next, make your way to Banff, Alberta, located in Banff National Park (altitude 4,800'). This evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel. - Breakfast - Dinner |
Day 4 - Tuesday, 7/12/2022 - Banff Alpine & Lakes Tour Enjoy a full day at Banff and Yoho National Parks.Start with a ride on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola for a stunning view of Bow Valley. Then, drive to the Valley of the Ten Peaks and Lake Moraine, followed by a visit to the spectacular Chateau Lake Louise (altitude 5,500'). Next, drive north on Icefields Parkway to see glacially-carved Peyto Lake and Bow Lake. Dinner is on your own in Banff. - Breakfast |
Day 5 - Wednesday, 7/13/2022 - Banff / Radium / Fernie Departing Banff, enjoy the geologic wonder of Johnson Canyon with its lush surroundings, rushing stream, and seven waterfalls. Then, drive through Kootenay National Park past Radium Hot Springs and into the Columbia River Valley. See where the headwaters of the Columbia bubble out of the ground at Canal Flats, forming Lake Columbia. Drive along the fast-flowing Elk River into Switzerland-like Fernie, British Columbia, for an overnight stay. - Breakfast |
Day 6 - Thursday, 7/14/2022 - Waterton & Glacier Parks Today, travel to Waterton Lakes National Park. Visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump where you’ll learn about First Nation people and the bison herds. Enjoy a view of Cameron Falls & the Prince of Wales Hotel, overlooking Waterton Lake. Then, on to Glacier National Park (altitude 6,700'). - Breakfast - Dinner |
Day 7 - Friday, 7/15/2022 - Glacier to Kalispell, MT This morning, explore Glacier National Park. Take a scenic lake cruise and look for deer, moose, bear, big horn sheep and mountain goats. Then, take a tour highlighting the spectacular drive over the continental divide at Logan Pass on the Going-to-the-Sun Highway aboard vintage, red, roll-top touring cars. - Breakfast |
Day 8 - Saturday, 7/16/2022 - Kalispell to Spokane Drive along the western shores of Flathead Lake for a stop at St. Ignatius to see the ornate church. In Wallace, Idaho, you’ll tour the working Silverado Silver Mine, visit the Bordello Museum, and have free time for shopping and lunch on your own. Tonight, gather for your Farewell Dinner and reminisce with new friends. - Breakfast - Dinner |
Day 9 - Sunday, 7/17/2022 - Spokane Tour / Fly Home Enjoy a city tour with Manito Gardens, Riverfront Park, and Pitcher Swinging Bridge over the Spokane River. Head to the airport for your return flight home. Note: This tour involves high altitude. Please check with your doctor, if you have any health conditions affected by high altitude. - Breakfast |
