Land First Itinerary
Day 1 Fairbanks - Take a step back in time aboard the sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery, and pan for gold at historic Gold Dredge 8.
Day 2 Denali National Park - Today it's off to Denali for a two night stay at this magnificent national treasure. This afternoon relax, explore on your own, or take an optional excursion.
Day 3 Denali - Today features the unforgettable Tundra Wilderness Tour. This 6-8 hour fully narrated sightseeing excursion is a deep dive into Denali National Park — the very best chance of seeing both the mountain itself and Denali’s iconic wildlife.
Day 4 Board the luxurious domed rail cars of the McKinley Explorer to Anchorage.
Day 5 Holland America Line’s Alaska cruise tours now include the tiny town of Whittier. This remote village is nestled along breathtaking Prince William Sound, home to a stunning array of wildlife, including bald eagles, sea otters and killer whales, so have your camera ready. Board your ship here.

Day 7 Glacier Bay - Cruise the ice-studded fjords of this national treasure for a full eight hours as a Park Service Ranger narrates.
Day 8 Skagway - At the height of the Klondike Gold Rush, the port town of Skagway served as the primary gateway to the legendary gold fields, and quickly grew into Alaska’s largest settlement. It was then a raucous frontier hub packed with trading posts, saloons and guesthouses.
Day 9 Juneau - Enjoy a full day of exploring Alaska's capital — choose from exciting shore excursions and still have time to shop.
Day 10 Ketchikan - Explore this uniquely Alaskan port, famous for its rich native culture, salmon fishing, and scenic Misty Fjords
Day 11 At Sea - Relax and enjoy a full day of scenic Inside Passage cruising and immerse yourself in Holland America Line elegance.
Day 12 Vancouver - Your Land + Sea Journey concludes this morning in Vancouver.
