A Mystery Tour Bus from San Diego stopped in Las Cruces to take in the sights of Las Cruces. Travelers on the tour visited the Rio Grande Theatre as part of the Downtown Ramble and were escorted by Carrie LaTour, executive director of the Downtown Las Cruces Partnership. On mystery tours, travelers sign up for a trip, but do not know the destination until the airplane lands.

This was a great trip with a fabulous local guide leading us on a tour through one of the most exciting cities in the world. Driving by Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, the Upper West Side, 5th Avenue, the UN, Empire State Building and more!
We also experienced behind-the-scenes of Radio City Music Hall, NBC Studios, and Lincoln Center. Other amazing sites included the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and Ground Zero.

AFC travelers spent most of the day visiting the spectacular Biltmore and Gardens, finished in 1895 for millionaire George Washington Vanderbilt. They enjoyed an included lunch and toured the sprawling 250 room French Chateau style mansion, complete with a winery, stables and grounds covered with magnificent gardens

Here we are in Colorado Springs just after enjoying lunch at the world famous 5-Star Broadmoor Hotel and Resort. That's our AFC tour manager, Anthony Wright, seated down in front. There is so much to see and do in Colorado Springs, including Pike's Peak tram, Olympic Training Center, Air Force Academy, and Garden of the Gods. What a wonderful summer tour we had visiting the hightlights of Colorado. Wish you were here!

There's our group of AFC lawnbowlers just after their match against the Canterbury Bowling Club outside of the city of Christchurch on the South Island of New Zealand. AFC arranged all the matches on this trip, a great way to mingle with the locals for a little friendly competition. And afterwards, a lunch together with a "friendship" plaque for our guests. A special memory for a once-in-a-lifetime vacation.

What a fantastic experience! Listening and dancing to Top Named Big Band music as we travel down the mighty Mississippi River on an authentic Mark Twain style paddlewheel riverboat! Now that's the life. Our group enjoyed sailing aboard the Mississippi Queen on our cruise through the Old South between New Orleans and Vicksburg. A time in American history that's "Gone with the Wind".

Truly one of the most stunning destinations in the world - the National Parks of the Canadian Rockies. Visit Banff, Jasper, and Yoho Natl. Parks which straddle the Continental Divide down the middle of the Rockies through the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. AFC included a "Snowcoach" ride out onto the Athabasca Glacier - part of the huge Columbia Icefields. How many people can say they walked on 4000 year old ice that was 1000 feet thick?
