Daily Itinerary:

Day 1 - Tuesday, 4/5/2022 - Fly to Washington D.C.
Upon arrival at the airport, meet your Tour Manager. Then, transfer to spend the next 5 nights at the spectacular Gaylord National Resort where an amazing 18-story glass atrium welcomes you to the hotel, offering sweeping views of the Potomac River, Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria. The premier waterfront destination property features 1,996 luxurious rooms, more than 150 diverse shops and boutiques, and over 40 dining options. Day 2 - Wednesday, 4/6/2022 - Arlington / White House
After breakfast, visit Arlington National Cemetery, America’s shrine to valor and sacrifice. Board the tourmobile tram to see the John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy graves, plus the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then, stop at the Marine Corps Memorial (Iwo Jima Statue). This afternoon, embark on a city tour with a stop at The White House Visitor’s Center to learn about our Executive Mansion and the Presidential families that lived there. Visit the White House Visitor’s Center and view the film White House: Reflections from Within. Next depart on a “spring stroll” along the National Mall’s Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms. Make stops at four impressive Memorials: Jefferson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, M.L.K. Jr., and National WWII. - Breakfast
Day 3 - Thursday, 4/7/2022 - Smithsonians / Cruise
Get dressed in cherry blossom pink attire, and enjoy free time to visit your choice of the world famous Smithsonian Institutes, such as the Air & Space, Natural History, American History, or Gallery of Art. Visit the National Portrait Gallery, whose collections focus on images of famous Americans. This afternoon board the Odyssey III ship for your festive cherry blossom cruise. Enjoy a signature pink drink, narration, dancing to the live band, and a delicious meal. Later this evening, depart on an illuminated monuments driving tour. Drive by buildings and monuments especially impressive when illuminated. - Breakfast - Dinner
Day 4 - Friday, 4/8/2022 - Ford's Theater / Annapolis
Tour Ford’s Theater, restored as it was the night John Wilkes Booth shot President Lincoln, and still an active theater. Also visit the NEW Center for Education & Leadership, with exhibits regarding President Lincoln. Travel to Annapolis for lunch on your own and time to shop in historic Annapolis Harbor. Embark on an Annapolis city tour including the US Naval Academy. Your evening is free tonight to explore our Nation’s capital. - Breakfast
Day 5 - Saturday, 4/9/2022 - Capitol Hill / Mt. Vernon
Arrive at Capitol Hill to visit the Capitol Visitor’s Center, highlighting the US lawmaking process. Then, visit the US Library of Congress and view the exterior of the Supreme Court Building.Drive to Alexandria, VA to visit Mt. Vernon, the estate of George Washington. Tour the house and grounds and visit Washington’s tomb. Your Farewell Dinner is included at a fine local restaurant. - Breakfast - Dinner
Day 6 - Sunday, 4/10/2022 - Fly Home
