Day 1 - Wednesday, 11/3/2021 - Fly to San Jose
Fly south to Costa Rica, to the colorful capital city of San José. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 - Thursday, 11/4/2021 - Poas Volcano / To Arenal 
This morning enjoy the scenery of the Central Valley, surrounded by soaring mountains, strawberry plantations, and flower farms. Visit a Coffee Plantation to sample fresh Costa Rican coffee and learn about the history and cultivation of the coffee bean. Later, travel past tropical landscapes for a visit of Poas Volcano National Park to view the dramatic mile wide crater from an overlook (altitude 9,000’). Stop at the Sarchi Artisan Village, known as the cradle of craftsmanship and an ideal place to shop for an oxcart, Costa Rica’s best known craft & souvenir. Overnight in the Arenal Volcano National Park area (La Fortuna) for the next two evenings. Tonight join your traveling companions for a Welcome Dinner. - Breakfast - Dinner

Day 3 - Friday, 11/5/2021 - La Fortuna Free Day
Today, enjoy your resort and spa hotel. The resort features a wonderful viewing angle of the Arenal Volcano and is surrounded by lush gardens, walking paths, excellent bird watching, swimming pools, and hot springs. Enjoy dinner at the resort. - Breakfast - Dinner

Day 4 - Saturday, 11/6/2021 - Arenal / To Monteverde
This morning, visit Arenal Volcano National Park, one of the 10 most active volcanoes in the world. Its constant emissions of gases and lava will amaze you. Later, check into your hotel in the Monteverde Cloud Forest area for a two night stay and enjoy an included dinner tonight. - Breakfast - Dinner

Day 5 - Sunday, 11/7/2021 - Monteverde Cloud Forest
Today, visit the conservation project at Selvatura Park. Enjoy a unique opportunity to walk across Hanging Bridges & discover the natural beauty of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, one of the largest and most enchanting wildlife sanctuaries in the Americas. Enjoy interesting visits to the Butterfly Garden, home to 50 different species, and the Hummingbird Gallery, home to many species from the cloud forest. - Breakfast - Dinner

Day 6 - Monday, 11/8/2021 - To Playa Blanca
Travel west to the Playa Blanca/Puntarenas Beach area, located on the Pacific Coast and well known for wildlife viewing, sport fishing, and surfing. Enjoy a visit to Carara National Park, a tropical bird and wildlife sanctuary and one of the world’s few nesting places for the scarlet macaw. - Breakfast - Dinner

Day 7 - Tuesday, 11/9/2021 - Free Time / Crocodile Cruise 
Enjoy the morning at leisure to relax and enjoy the amenities of the resort complex. Later set out for an exciting Jungle Crocodile Safari Cruise. The 2-hour cruise highlights crocodiles and spectacular bird-viewing while cruising the Tarcoles River. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 8 - Wednesday, 11/10/2021 - Orchids / To San José 
This morning enjoy a bit of leisure time before departing for San José. Enroute visit an Orchid Garden and gain insight into the stunning diversity of orchids. Check in to your hotel prior to your special Farewell Dinner. - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 9 - Thursday, 11/11/2021 - Fly Home to USA
Fly home full of wonderful memories of Costa Rica.
