Daily Itinerary
Day 1 - Wednesday, 11/6/2024 - Fly to Italy
Home Pick-up and overnight flight to Rome.
Day 2 - Thursday, 11/7/2024 - Arrive Milan
Arrive in Milan and meet your Tour Manager. Transfer to your hotel and check-in for an overnight stay. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers. - Dinner
Day 3 - Friday, 11/8/2024 - Milan / The Last Supper
Enjoy a Milan Walking Tour with a local guide to see the famous Duomo, the third largest Catholic Cathedral in the world. Next visit the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie to view Leonardo da Vinci’s mural The Last Supper*, painted on the refectory wall. Continue to Piazza Della Scala and the Scala Theatre, built in 1776. You will have a guided visit at the La Scala Museum. Enjoy some time to enjoy an espresso or stroll and shop at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world’s oldest shopping malls. Later, travel to the Italian Lakes region and check-in for a 5-night stay.

Day 4 - Saturday, 11/9/2024 - Franciacorta / Lake Iseo
Head to the beautiful Franciacorta region known for its sparkling wines. See scenic landscapes dotted with wineries, villas, castles and medieval churches. Visit a local winery and farmhouse for a tour, tasting, lunch, and insight into the wine produced here. Continue on to the incredibly scenic Lake Iseo, nestled between Lake Como and Lake Garda and surrounded by soaring peaks. Take a boat trip to the idyllic Monte Isola, the largest island in any European lake with its nine small villages and only 1,800 residents. - Breakfast - Lunch
Day 5 - Sunday, 11/10/2024 - Lake Maggiore / Lake Orta
Today discover the Borromean Islands and wonderful Lake Maggiore known for its stunning villas and amazing botanical gardens. Free time to explore Stresa today. Continue to Lake Orta, a hidden jewel. In the village of Orta, on the shores of the lake, see the old market square and narrow medieval alleyways with romantic secluded gardens. Next, a boat ride to the island of San Giulio to visit the oldest church in this region with its precious Renaissance frescoes. - Breakfast
Day 6 - Monday, 11/11/2024 - At Leisure / Optional Bergamo
The entire day is at leisure. Or, today’s optional tour travels across lush rural landscapes to ancient Bergamo. Explore the walled medieval center, straight out of a storybook. Meet your local guide and ride the funicular to the older upper district (Città Alta). Visit the Piazza Vecchia and wander the picturesque cobblestone streets and small shops.

Day 7 - Tuesday, 11/12/2024 - Lugano, Switzerland
Travel to Lugano, Switzerland, an Italian-style city set on the edge of a lake with views of the Alps. Enjoy a tour of Lugano and some free time to shop and explore. Experience the splendor of the Alps on as you ride the Monte Bre Cable Car. From the top, enjoy stunning views of Lake Lugano and surrounding mountains. This evening enjoy dinner including wine.

Day 8 - Wednesday, 11/13/2024 - To Venice
After breakfast, travel to Venice-Mestre for a three-night stay. Dinner is included this evening.

Day 9 - Thursday, 11/14/2024 - Venice Touring
Travel to Venice Island. Meet your local guide and transfer by boat to St. Marks Square. Enjoy a Venice Walking Tour of St Mark’s Square. Admire the Campanile (brick bell tower), see the Bridge of Sighs and entrance is included into the incredible Doges Palace, built in 1340.  Next, enjoy an iconic Gondola Ride as you sit back, relax and glide gracefully through the picturesque canals. Lunch is included today at a local restaurant. The afternoon is at leisure to shop or explore Venice on your own.

Day 10 - Friday, 11/15/2024 - Murano / Burano
Today we visit Murano and Burano. Catch your boat and cruise across the Venetian Lagoon to the island of Murano. Meet your local guide and visit a glass factory. Next visit Burano, a picturesque island famous for its seafood, brightly colored fishermen’s houses, and lace production. Free time to visit local shops and a museum to see high-end lace on display. Return by boat to Venice. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner including wine. - Breakfast - Dinner
Day 11 - Saturday, 11/16/2024 - Return Home
Transfer to the airport and fly home today.
