Daily Itinerary:
Day 1
Tuesday, 10/3/2017 - Fly to Philly
Fly to the City of Brotherly Love, and one of the hotbeds of the American Revolution, Philadelphia, and transfer to your hotel for 3 nights.
Day 2
Wednesday, 10/4/2017 - Philly City Tour
After breakfast, join your local guide for a day of touring this historic, colonial city. See the Liberty Bell, Independance Hall, Congress Hall, Christ Church, Elfreth's Alley, the Betsy Ross House and Ben Franklin's Post Office. Return to your hotel and relax prior to dinner at local landmark restaurant.
Day 3
Thursday, 10/5/2017 - Day Trip to Cape May / National Constitution Center
Today, visit the seaside resort town of Cape May. Preservation of its Victorian architecture resulted in the entire city being designated as a National Historic Landmark. Enjoy a red trolley tour, before touring the mansion of a family descended from famous and wealthy Philadelphians. Then, after an included lunch and free time, drive the coast back to Philly to visit the National Constitution Center. Watch the live theater production Freedom Rising, experience innovative exhibits, see rare artifacts, and walk among 42 life-size bronze statues of the founding fathers in Signers' Hall. Return to your hotel for a free evening.
Day 4
Friday, 10/6/2017 - Philly / Brooklyn / Huntington
Free time this morning with your choice of visting the Barnes Collection of more than 3,000 art masterpieces, or the Franklin Institute, one of the oldest and most beloved science museums in the country. After an included lunch featuring the Philly Cheesesteak, motor north through New Jersey and cross the Verrazano Bridge into Brooklyn, on the western end of Long Island. A local guide shows you the sights in this hip borough, before heading east to the town of Huntington for 3 nights.
Day 5
Saturday, 10/7/2017 - Gold Coast Mansions
The Great Gatsby's Gilded Age extravagance is on display today as you visit several different mansions. At the turn of the last century during the industrial revolution, great fortunes were made by many. The wealthy made Long Island their home, or summer home. Grand estates were built, many of which imported fixtures, materials and art from around the world.  These estates are an enchanting time capsule of a vanished era. We will also tour historic Sagamore Hill in Oyster Bay, former home of President Teddy Roosevelt. Return to your hotel before dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 6
Sunday, 10/8/2017 - Southampton & Montauk
Meet your local guide for the day and coach to the "original Hampton," Southampton, with its charming village and famed beaches. Partake in a tour and time for shopping in this haven for artists. Then, out to iconic Montauk Lighthouse at the easternmost point of Long Island. Visit picturesque Sag Harbor before heading to a quaint local winery for a tour and our Farewell Dinner together.
Day 7
Monday, 10/9/2017 - Oheka Castle / Fly Home
Tour chateau-style Oheka Castle this morning, built from 1914-19 with over 109,000 sq.ft. inside and surrounded by beautiful formal gardens. Then, it's on to the airport for your return flight home.
